The situation
Managing 15,000 RT weld inspections per year, a major European chemical plant relied on six fragmented steps: order creation, coordination, evaluation, reporting, billing, and archiving. Each was handled separately across email, Excel, and physical film archives. The result: a 3-day inspection cycle, a high report revision rate, and significant internal labor consumed annually by administration rather than inspection work.
What changed
deeplify connected SAP, the existing Asset Integrity Management system, and all inspection contractors into one platform. Orders are pre-populated from existing asset data. No manual retyping is required. AI verifies image quality and pre-fills reports. Completeness and consistency are validated before submission. Billing transfers to SAP automatically. Physical films are replaced by a DICONDE archive with role-based digital access for authorized reviewers.
What this enabled
A 1-day inspection cycle means weld releases no longer block construction crews during shutdowns. Digital data across multiple providers enables objective contractor benchmarking. End-to-end traceability is built into the workflow. Audit readiness requires zero additional preparation.
